As we come closer to winter solstice, with every passing day mother earth tilting axially bringing in more and more of winter, I felt a calling to think about the divine life force that dwells across universe and through each one of us. In a natural swing to harness warmth, we tend to sun in the day, and fire in the night. I thought to bring in a bit of warm sound that can accompany us tonight, remind us of the unconditional love of universe, an embrace of the light, a reminder to bring in deep trust on the grander scheme. ✨
Dear friends, we’re all in this together. Wherever you are, whatever you’re upto, trust, trust in yourself and the divine will within you. Everything is alright, if it is not, it will be soon, I assure you 🙂
🎶 Zikar, composed by Farhan Zameer, feat. Abbas Ali Khan
This song is all the warmth that we might be seeking right now. A spacious ambient fusion of hindustani classical, beautifully woven into a prayer in remembrance and reminder of the Allah. Gracefully sung by Abbas Ali Khan, probably one of his best offerings.
This is perhaps the only music I have heard of Farhan Zameer, I discovered it through soundcloud’s autoplay recommendation about 3 years ago, and it has ever been in my liked songs list. I came across it again today while I was going through some old emails, and found it in one of the threads I must have sent to a friend..
Wish you a love filled evening, with lots of positivity, hope and optimism 🤗
